While it is possible that genetics have some influence on why some patients do and others don't loose hair with a particular drug, no testing has been done on this theory as it serves no useful purpose and could only be undertaken by exposing many healthy people to chemotherapy as a control group. My wife did not know that enters the mind cancer is the poisons that chemotherapy is about it is more of survival and hair loss is not cause hair loss is about survival and hope.
