A friend of mine has noticed that she is experiencing frequent hair loss. I checked on the internet for her and found among some of the causes can be due too, recent surgery or medicines etc. She had a toothe pulled just a few weeks ago, could there be any connection here? Could this be a cause to her hair loss?

Possible, but I doubt it.
She should have experienced hair loss shortly after the dental work was done and not a few weeks later.
Certain meds can cause it.
And she could be low on iron in her system. She should go to the doc and let him run a blood test to find out.
Humans shed about 100 hairs a day more or less and it’s normal.
They even may shed a little more or less at the changing of the seasons, believe it or not. I shed a little heavier in the fall and spring than any other time of year. 120 or so hairs a day. And yes, I’ve counted them out of curiosity when I was told about it.
