How do I stop hair-loss and grow it back?

Hello. I am 27 years old and i am losing my hair. I have no history of hair-loss in my family. The hair-loss is not in the normal places you would lose hair if you were going bald and it is in spots. i am constantly running my fingers through my hair and pull out chunks.
