Hair loss?

I’m 15 and about a year or two ago I started losing a lot of hair, like after i’d take a shower or even after brushing hair i could just pull out like 20 strands of hair. my hair is really thick, and i dont see any signs of my hair thinning or anything but is there any way to prevent it? i also got a trim of 1 1/2 inches and it didnt help..thank you in advance
