What is the cause of the rapid hair loss?

So here is the condition. When I pass my fingers through my hair i see lots of broken hairs over my palm(may be more than 10). And this is mainly losing from the back side not front.
I have never used hair gel/cream/perfume. I wear cap outside only when there is sunlight. Ok then I surveyed my relatives. No one has the heritage of an early hair loss. Then why is this happening to me?
